Wilderness Athletics is designed for those who love the outdoors.  If you spend time hiking, hunting, or rock-climbing, you need to stay in shape to enjoy your element to the fullest.  The outdoors can be merciless, and a sudden change in weather, lighting, or conditions can make them dangerous.  Even worse, a travel-partner could become sick or injured, requiring additional effort for your whole crew to make it back home safely.  That should never stop you from enjoying the untamed wilderness to the full; but it should make you more aware of the need for preparation.

Just as you would never want to go hunting with an untested rifle, neither should you want to journey out physically untested.  That would be an invitation for disaster.  Wilderness Athletics intends to test you out, and prepare you for whatever you might face on your adventures.  Using the CrossFit methodology, we have daily workouts featuring a variety of exercises, weights, and skills to keep you improving as well as reveal weaknesses.  Special effort is directed towards wilderness personnel – guides, trackers, and search and rescue technicians (SAR-techs).  Ultimately, Wilderness Athletics is intended to make yours an unbreakable body, with an unbreakable spirit.
